Mission + Details

Plan, prepare and deliver between 6 -12 hours per week of high quality English language teaching that meets the needs of different customer groups taking into account individual learning styles in the Il-de-France region.
Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to help manage students’ performance throughout the course, and actively promote learner autonomy
Contribute to the development, evaluation, and improvement of English language courses, materials and related services, in order to meet students’ needs by actively working as a member of the teaching team
Complete teaching-related administrative tasks to specified standards

Start date: 5th September 2024
Teaching hours/week: 6 hours per week (for 30 weeks of the Academic Year)
Duration: Permanent on completion of the probationary period.
Working day: Saturday ONLY (opportunity for more hours)
Right to Work/Passport Requirement: Applicants must be eligible to work in France. The British Council will not be able to assist non-EU nationals to obtain a work permit for France

Qualifications

Essential

but also

Specific Young Learner (YL) extension course (TYLEC or CELTYL or NILE etc.)
Either Recognised diploma in EFL e.g. DELTA, or
Postgraduate Certificate in Education or Bachelor of Education in primary, secondary or any relevant subject

Salary and Benefits

Salary: 543 - 965 Euro per month for 12 months (Depending on hours offered, qualification and work experience)
