FB-CCI member events in 2024

Hello dear members,

As you might know, TLN is affiliated to the Franco-British Chamber of Commerce or FBCCI, and as a member organisation, we receive newsletters and can attend events organised by the Chamber. Most are free, some might be payable. I'll be sharing the newsletters and events regularly with you via the blog and if you are interested in attending, then tell us and we'll inform the Chamber that we'll be sending a TLN member.

The Chamber is open to our organising events ourselves. If anyone has ideas of topics that they would like to intervene in (language-related, test-related, related to our services as teachers, trainers or coaches, learning-related... the list is long), feel free to get in touch with me:

Newsletters: We release 2 newsletter each month. The Chamber’s Newsletter is released at the end of each month and is a summary of the events/ latest Chamber news. In here you will also find our Members’ Offers as well as some of our upcoming events for the following month. The Cross-Channel Institute Newsletter, released halfway through the month, is much more centred around Franco-British relations and is a summary of news relating to the 2 countries.

Members Offers: Members have the opportunity to offer their services at a discounted rate to other members. We the Chamber will communicate heavily on these promotions and get the word out. As a member, clearly, you can offer your own discount or simply take up another member on their offer and benefit from the price reduction.

Barometers/ Sectorial Analysis: We publish one of each per year. They are small ‘pamphlets’ written up by our expert members in that field, and they focus on a specific relevant theme. This year’s Sectorial Analysis for instance, is centred around all things Cybersecurity, AI etc. These then get released to our members.

Connects: An online platform that enables you to interact with members of many Chambers around the world. 55,000+ users worldwide. This opens you up to greater visibility and a bigger pool of potential clients.

Your Experts in France : We put organisations, set up in France (or in the process of), in contact with our expert members who are able to help them with the specific services/skills they require.

Webinars/SME Breakfasts: Webinars are fairly self-explanatory, but we do all the admin and communication for your webinar. We arrange all the invitations and manage the zoom invites and recordings. This is online. SME Breakfasts are a far more interactive event, where people can come in person to watch your speech – round table style event, open forum for questions etc.
