Beyond listening comprehension – Helping learners become better listeners

Listening comprehension is the most challenging skill for many adult learners. At the same time, they are confronted with the need to understand native and non-native speakers in a variety of
situations in their professional context and it’s often a source of stress. In this workshop, we will explore how to get to listening comprehension by first learning how to listen and training the ear to hear the sounds of English.
Join TESOL France members, Sue Thomas and Katherine Krieger, for an interactive workshop for trainers/coaches of adult professionals in one-on-one sessions or very small groups (or aiming to work in this sector). This workshop is about sharing knowledge and experience from working with adults in different professional sectors, focusing on listening skills. You will gain practical tips and insights and be able to share your own practices.
